Current users running iOS 9 on their devices can still install MovieSlate 8.9.4 from the App Store.
There are several important software libraries MovieSlate depends on that no longer support iOS 9. IOS 9 users: Versions of MovieSlate 8 after 8.9.4 will not be compatible with iOS 9. Current users running iOS 10 on their devices can still install MovieSlate 8.9.9 from the App Store. There are several important software libraries MovieSlate depends on that no longer support iOS 10. IOS 10 users: Versions of MovieSlate 8 after 8.9.9 will not be compatible with iOS 10. Keep the version 7 app running properly on iOS 6, iOS 7, iOS 8 and newer. With iOS 9’s many underlying changes and new capabilities, it was no longer feasible to RUNS ON IPAD2 OR NEWER IPHONE5 OR NEWER IPOD TOUCH 5 OR NEWER.MovieSlate 8 is a new app with many new features and runs exclusively on iOS 11 and newer.
